I think that you have a good foundation concerning the evaluation of what an author is to you. However, like me, you put most of your emphasis on what an author is and didn't seem to incorporate a whole lot of information relating this idea of authorship to your topic. I think that your representation through images, especially in the first few slides, is excellent. These compilations represent your thoughts and don't just illustrate them. One good source for additional foundation for your presentation could be taken directly from the remix culture lecture from October 1st. I'm not sure if you have already included insights from that particular lecture, but I would say that the lecture would be worth consideration. All in all, I would say that you have a very tight grasp on the authorship portion of the presentation, and you should have no trouble building on it.
I really like your presentation. I find that the pictures really add to what you are saying, and even emphasize your points. You have a lot of good points, but I don't really get a strong sense that you're focusing on twilight videos from this presentation. Maybe adding more twilight videos as examples would make the topic a bit clearer.
Your presentation is very clear about the topic of authorship and what you plan to do with it. As other classmates have said, I would also incorporate the remix lecture from class into your presentation for further back up. Your images do a good job at visualizing what you are trying to say.
Alex, I really liked the images you used in your power point presentation. On slide 5 I found it interesting how you said the internet was becomming a form of publication and copyrights are often overlooked. I find this to be true as well. Often people take information from the internet lightly and much information does not have copy rights. I see in you title that yur topic is on fanfiction. Maybe you could add some information on what fan fiction is with the rest of your slideshow. I think you have a great start here!
